Who really helped set up
India’s newest GCCs?
A company opening a GCC deals with advisers, landlords, recruiters, payroll firms, lawyers and state governments. We read the sources behind Flexiple’s list of new centres and recorded three kinds of outside party where they are named: a state government, a setup partner, and a building or landlord, each with the sentence that proves it.
GCC means Global Capability Centre: a company’s own team in another country.

How the record was built
AI read each announcement and proposed the company, the city and the parties it names, each with one quoted sentence. A plain program then kept only the quotes found in the source word for word. These three saved examples show that step. No AI runs on this page.

Where do these announcements come from?
They are the sources cited on Flexiple’s list of new and upcoming GCCs in India, as it stood on 13 Oct 2026: 43 sources behind its 48 cards. One of those sources no longer exists and is left out. One comes from a site that blocks automated reading, so its quote was read once and is not re-checked.
How does a quote get in?
AI reads the source and proposes the company, the city and any state government, setup partner or building it names, each with one quoted sentence. A plain program then looks for every quoted sentence on the page itself. A quote that is not there word for word is thrown away. A person reviews what is left. The same check runs every time the record is rebuilt, so a page that changes or disappears is caught.
What does “named” mean?
Only that the source says so. The record tracks three relationships: a state government, a setup partner, and a building or landlord. A missing mention does not show that a service was unused. That gap is the finding: the public record shows a small part of who was involved, so a newcomer still has to ask around.
What is this not?
It is not a rating of any firm and not a full list of new centres. Announcements favour large companies and good news. A hiring figure is a plan unless the source says otherwise.
What are lakh and crore?
Indian number words. 1 lakh is 100,000 and 1 crore is 10 million. So ₹18 lakh is ₹1.8 million, and ₹22 crore is ₹220 million.
